There are a ton of cool things to do in Sacramento. My #1 Favorite is the California State Railroad Museum. If you and your family like trains, you’ll love this museum. The trains are really cool and you can actually climb into some of them and walk through the various cars. Another cool place is the Crocker Art Museum. The exhibitions are education and informative, the place is easy to find and their is street parking, as well as a parking lot. The exterior of the building a mix between old and new architecture. The staff is very friendly, the cost is only $10. There is even a restaurant on the 1st floor by the lobby. It’s a very interesting Exhibit and I spent around 2 – 3 hours browsing around, the last time I was there. If it’s your first time to Sacramento, as must see place is The California State Capitol and Museum, the museum has beautiful displays of the California Counties. The rotunda and acoustics are spectacular. The tour guides are very friendly and informative. Leland Stanford Mansion State Historic Park is another great spot to see while visiting. I personally like to visit as many mansions as possible but this one is one of the more grand places I’ve seen. The only thing about this tour is that they don’t show as much as they could. The tour is completely free but they do have a gift shop so you can contribute that way. Not only does Sacramento have a lot of cool museums and venues but it also has some amazing restaurants. The Firehouse is one of my favorites. The firehouse is everything that a restaurant should be. Beautiful, Charming, reminiscent to an era gone by, and impeccable service. One of my favorites. Biba is another favorite restaurant of mine.. Biba is in the 2800 block of Capital Ave. Most nights they have someone playing the piano, very enjoyable music. The specialty is Mediterranean based dishes. The meal, the decor, and the servers are always on point. One of my favorite dishes is the carbonara with corn, simply phenomenal. These are just a few of the many places you can visit while coming to Sacramento. Have fun and stay awhile. Click Here for More Information
